Strengthening Malawi’s institutions and setting up an information system to meet the Enhanced Transparency Framework of the Paris Agreement.
Funded through the GEF’s Capacity-building Initiative for Transparency (CBIT), the project strengthened institutional arrangements, designed indicators, and developed the legal framework needed to collect, manage and report climate data.
The Environmental Affairs Department was the executing agency, with UNEP as the implementing agency.
