First Biennial Transparency Report and Fourth National Communication

Preparing Malawi’s first report under the Paris Agreement’s Enhanced Transparency Framework, together with its Fourth National Communication to the UNFCCC.
The report assesses Malawi’s greenhouse gas emissions and removals, its mitigation actions, adaptation strategies, and the support it needs. It builds on Malawi’s earlier National Communications and its national greenhouse gas inventory.
The work was funded by the Global Environment Facility under the UNEP umbrella programme for National Communications and Biennial Transparency Reports. Read the report in National Communications.
