The Malawi Higher Education Institutions Network on Climate Change Learning (MHEINCCL) was established to provide a platform for promoting Climate Change Learning (CCL) learning related issues in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Malawi.

The establishment of the MHEINCCL is among the priority areas identified in the Malawi Government’s National Climate Change Learning Strategy (2020). The MHEINCCL supports the expansion of interest for CCL to influence decision-making towards increased awareness, understanding and addressing of CCL related challenges in Malawi, the region and beyond.
